Cinch Gopher Trap

Humane-Kill Gopher Trap

Trapping gophers becomes quick and effective with this durable, easy-to-use device. Designed for straightforward operation, the trap is inserted directly into an open tunnel with no need for bait, relying on the gopher’s natural movement to trigger the mechanism. Its open-tunnel setup also allows you to visually confirm placement and check for captures without disturbing the trap, making it an efficient choice for regular monitoring.

Made in the USA, this trap is engineered for reliability and long-term use. The sturdy construction ensures consistent performance across multiple seasons, even in challenging soil conditions. The design prioritizes humane capture, dispatching gophers swiftly to reduce suffering while helping protect valuable garden beds, orchards, and lawns from burrowing damage.

Ideal for organic gardeners, farmers, and property owners seeking a non-toxic pest control method, this trap offers an environmentally responsible alternative to poisons. Whether you are dealing with a single pest or managing a larger gopher problem, multiple traps can be set for greater coverage. Regular inspection and prompt resetting can significantly reduce gopher populations, safeguarding root systems, irrigation lines, and plantings from costly harm.

Works great with a little of bait

Already got two gophers with it and counting, I put a little peanut or almond butter on the bait area and pulls them right in, kills them instantly, if you have one then you probably have a whole family of gophers per borrow, so stay patient, it takes time to get them all without poison.

Really Easy to Use and KILLS Gophers

I was able to kill 3 gophers in 3 days. I would probably kill more than that, but the gophers stopped coming to my garden. They fear this trap. I set it according to the instructions plus I baited it with an onion. Got them every time!

    Best trap ever

I have been using USA made cinch traps for years. The BEST way to trap gophers. Easy, quick and efficient.

    Best ever gopher trap

I completely agree with Tim's review. These are the best gopher traps, and the only ones with which I have successfully trapped gophers. And they work within a day, and sometimes much quicker. Just make sure when you set the trap that the small eyelet wires will be free to rotate when the trap is sprung. Otherwise the trap won't spring all the way and the gopher will still be free. But in this case you simply open up the gopher's hole again and reset the trap. Easy!

    These are the bomb!

These traps are really the only effective way to catch gophers. I bought two, and have trapped 8 gophers since fall. I would trap more, but there are none. As soon as you see a fresh open hole, widen it a bit and slide the trap in, but not too far. Leave the hole open and go away. It will do its thing. The only thing to make sure of is when you set the trap, turn the bent over eyes on the trigger wires up so they don't bind up. Otherwise the gopher may push dirt in and set off the trigger, but the trap won't release. Also set it with a hair trigger. Just enough to hold the wires down. I give them 5 stars. The only thing better is a gopher catching cat. And they don't always catch the ones you want. :)
