Organic Blue Vervain Seeds

Lovely Long Lasting Herb

Blue Vervain seeds are a hardy choice for home gardeners and small-scale growers looking to establish beneficial habitat and support pollinators. This blue-flowered herbaceous perennial reaches up to 5 feet tall and is well-suited to growing zones 3 to 7. It thrives in full sun to part shade and performs well in home gardens or disturbed ground in the sun to part shade.

Sow seeds on the surface, barely cover, and tamp well. Best sown outdoors in early spring in moist medium. Alternatively, mix seed in moist medium and refrigerate for 2 weeks, then sow warm. Germination takes 2 to 6 weeks. Plants prefer consistent moisture but can adapt to a range of growing conditions, especially once established.

This native wildflower is ideal for adding vertical interest to native borders, meadow plantings, or rain gardens while supporting beneficial insect populations. Space plants 2 feet apart for optimal growth and airflow.
