Peaceful Valley Low-Growing Clover Mix - Nitrocoated Seed (lb)
A Resilient Ground Cover for Orchards, Vineyards, and Pathways
This popular low-growing cover crop is ideal for mowed, irrigated orchards and vineyards, Peaceful Valley Low-Growing Clover Mix – Nitrocoated Seed (lb) delivers dependable soil improvement and durable ground cover in a variety of growing conditions. Formerly called Tree & Vine Mix, this perennial legume cover crop is designed for irrigated, mowed orchards, and vineyards.
Dual-Climate Adaptability
This blend combines Dutch White Clover and Palestine Strawberry Clover, selected for their adaptability, nitrogen-fixing power, and ability to form dense, weed-suppressing sod. Dutch White Clover thrives in cool conditions and partial shade, while Palestine Strawberry Clover prefers warmth and full sun. Together, they provide season-long performance across diverse climates and soil types while building soil fertility with minimal maintenance.
Soil Health Benefits
This mix improves soil structure with deep roots that aerate compacted ground and boost water infiltration. As a nitrogen-fixing legume, it works in harmony with soil microbes to enrich the soil naturally—reducing your reliance on synthetic fertilizers.
Built for Traffic and Tough Conditions
Low-growing and resilient, this cover crop clover blend can handle tractor traffic—even in wet weather. It’s ideal under tree canopies, between vineyard rows, or in tight garden spaces where a hardy living cover is needed.
Dutch White Clover thrives in cooler climates and partial shade, while Palestine Strawberry Clover prefers warmer, sunnier locations and neutral to alkaline soils. Together, they provide season-long performance and build soil fertility with minimal maintenance.

Product looked, good. Clover is not spouted yet.
👍 quick delivery 👍
I'm impressed so far! Planted before monsoon rains and tons of clover is coming up! I'll keep planting it in more areas!
We use this mix as our backyard lawn replacement -- it does well, fills in fast, survives the fairly brutal long Maine winters and comes back quickly in the spring. Lovely mix of white and some pink flowers -- ours flowers in late spring and sporadically again in fall. Needs no mowing to stay the perfect height and provides a lovely saturated green color where neighbors' grass turns brown. Ordering more now for some touch-up areas.
We have planted this seed in both spring and fall and it seems to stick both landings. Recommended!
Super happy with the shipping speed, customer service, and product. Always a pleasure working with Peaceful Valley! I’ll be placing this clover mix between my garden rows to prevent erosion meanwhile adding nitrogen and increasing homes for beneficial insects!
