Safer Insecticidal Soap Concentrate (Pint)

Kills Insects on Contact

Safer Brand® Insecticidal Soap Concentrate offers a powerful, eco-friendly solution for controlling soft bodied insects in your organic garden. This pint-sized insect killing soap concentrate dilutes to create up to 6 gallons of effective insecticidal soap spray, perfect for vegetables, fruits, flowers, shrubs, and indoor plants.

Formulated with potassium salts of fatty acids as the active ingredient, this product kills insects on contact by breaking down their protective outer layers. It effectively controls common insect pests, including aphids, mealybugs, whiteflies, and spider mites—all while sparing beneficial insects such as ladybugs and lacewings.

Key Features

  • Concentrated Formula
One pint of concentrate makes up to 6 gallons of spray, ideal for use with a spray bottle or garden sprayer.
  • Kills Insects on Contact
Quickly disrupts the cell membranes of soft bodied insects like aphids, whiteflies, mealybugs, thrips, and spider mites for fast pest control.
  • Safe for Beneficial Insects
Supports natural pest control by sparing beneficial insects, allowing them to thrive in your garden ecosystem.
  • OMRI Listed & Organic Garden Safe
Approved for organic production and safe to use on edible plants up to the day of harvest.
  • Versatile Use
Suitable for houseplants, sweet peas, vegetables, flowers, trees, and shrubs in both indoor and outdoor settings.
  • Eco-Friendly & Biodegradable
Breaks down within 7–10 days, leaving no harmful residues—ideal for sustainable pest control.
  • Insecticidal Soap RTU Available
For added convenience, a ready-to-use (RTU) insecticidal soap spray option is also available for immediate application without mixing.

Usage Tips

  • Application Timing
Spray in the early morning or late afternoon to minimize plant stress and maximize effectiveness. Avoid applying when temperatures exceed 90°F.
  • Repeat Applications
Because insecticidal soaps work on contact, multiple treatments may be necessary to fully control heavy infestations.
  • Mixing Instructions
Follow label directions carefully when diluting the concentrate. Use a spray bottle or garden sprayer for thorough coverage.
  • Storage & Stability
Once diluted, use the spray within 24 hours for best results.
  • Safe, Natural Alternative
Ideal for gardeners preferring an alternative to homemade insecticidal soap or harsher chemical pesticides.

Where to Use

  • Insect Soap for Aphids & More
Controls a broad range of pests, especially aphids, whiteflies, and mites.
  • Indoor & Outdoor Gardens
Effective on houseplants, vegetable patches, flower beds, and ornamental shrubs.
  • Edible Plants Protection
Safe to spray on fruits and vegetables up to the day of harvest, providing worry-free pest control.

As I went to peel back direction lable, its stuck to the bottle and just rips so there is nothing I can read on how to use it, because the instructions and lable are stuck together😯😤🤔..frustrated.!-But I'll gladly give you a better review once I figure out how to use it!

From the Internet: "For best results, use freshly mixed solution. Mix one part concentrate with 50 parts water, or 2.5 fl. oz per gallon unless otherwise noted. Use soft water whenever possible. NOTE: Do not use on new transplants, newly rooted cuttings or plants stressed by drought. Avoid application when temperature exceeds 90°F. Insect Killing Soap Concentrate may be used up to and including day of harvest, and is useful as a component of Integrated Pest Management "

Instructions are on the back of the bottle, you have to peel off first layer to release the instructions.
