I'm very pleased with this size/shape Smart Pot. I think for shallow-rooted plants, the bed is a better option than the pots (more surface area equals opportunity to plant more seeds and not needing to fill a deeper pot with soil the shallow-rooted plants don't really need). Filled with soil, I am still able to move this one around on my own. I suspect the larger beds would be too heavy (for me) to move once filled. I liked this mini enough that I bought three more!

Just moved to a place with no garden! This size smart pot is working out great for my greens and herbs, I put about 12 small starts in it and I used almost 2 full bags of soil to fill it. The first one worked out so well, I bought a second one for more greens on my patio.

This is a little smaller than I expected, but I planted my seeds with plenty of room around them. It's just as nice as the regular Smart Pots, but I like the shorter walls of this "raised bed." I have planted my Butterfly and Bee garden in it, and I can't wait for all the plants to grow in together and bring those beneficials around!
