Zinc Botanical Plant Markers 20" Long
Mark Your Garden with Reusable Markers
Zinc Botanical Plant Markers provide a professional, long-lasting way to label trees, flowers, herbs, shrubs, and vegetable plantings. The etched zinc surface is easy to write on with a soft pencil or weatherproof pen, allowing the text to remain clear and legible through all seasons. Over time, the zinc naturally develops a soft patina, giving it an attractive, aged appearance while preserving the writing. These markers are durable, weather-resistant, and reusable, making them a dependable choice for both home gardeners and professional horticulturists.
The extended 20.5" stake makes these markers ideal for use with larger plants, deep beds, or in-ground plantings where additional height improves visibility. The sturdy galvanized wire stake inserts easily into the soil and stays upright, even in variable outdoor conditions. Unlike plastic tags that fade or crack, zinc withstands years of exposure without losing function or structure. When it’s time to relabel, simply clean the surface and rewrite.
Perfect for keeping track of plant varieties, marking orchard rows, or labeling research plots, these markers combine elegance with functionality. They are the same style used in many botanical gardens and can be placed in ornamental beds, vegetable gardens, greenhouses, or public landscapes to provide clear plant identification year-round.

Used on neighborhood garden walk to identify native plants and visitors really liked & appreciated them. Easy to read using the largest font size that would fit printed on cardstock. Saved & will reuse next year, plus make up new set of 25. Thank you Grow Organic!
Fantastic plant markers! Tall enough so when everything gets growing big you can still see them peaking out so everyone can identify the plants.
These aided in the naming of different varieties of garlic and fruit trees. Easy to write on. Magic Markers fade but Sharpie paint pens really work well.
Yes, I realize it's just a plant marker, but these are really worth reviewing.
I don't know how many different types of plant markers I've used, bought, built, and/or lost over the years (not counting the ones the cat walks off with) but let's just say it's an embarrassing number. I usually try to plant something different each year, but I have my usuals as well. It really irks me to have to replace/repair the same markers over and over every season so I finally decided to spend a little more to save in the long run. These are the perfect answer to my issue.
I purchased the 20" ones for all my raised beds because the soil is always soft and the markers can really sink in (did I mention the cat?). I have the choice of using a UV-resistant marker or actually engraving the zink label for permanence. They won't rust, they won't easily pull out (recall the cat) and they won't fade AND they look very nice. I've even gone around and marked bushes so my grandchildren can proudly announce they know the names of various plants n the garden - a plus I had not foreseen. Buy these, you won't regret it.
Anyone need a cat?
