Collection: Increase Your Soil Biology

What are Mycorrhizal Inoculants?

Mycorrhizal inoculants are beneficial fungi that have a mutually beneficial relationship with the plant's roots. The plant supplies sugars that the fungi need and in return they provide nutrients and water to the plant.

What are the Types of Mycorrhizal Fungi?

Ectomycorrhizal fungi (mostly found with trees) and and Endomycorrhizal fungi (most common type and associated with the most plants). If your soils are deficient in this type of soil biology, you can supplement your soils by adding these inoculants when transplanting your plants or trees.
