In this beginner-friendly workshop, local garden expert Greg Weber will introduce the basics of watering systems, with a focus on drip and sprinkler irrigation and how to use them successfully at home or on a small farm. You’ll learn how these systems work, where each one is most useful, and how to make better watering decisions for different crops and growing spaces. The workshop will cover key tips for setting up an irrigation system, improving watering efficiency, avoiding common mistakes, and helping plants get the moisture they need without waste. With more than 20 years of experience in organic farming at Greg’s Organics, Greg will share practical, straightforward guidance to help you better understand irrigation and feel more confident getting started. Whether you are new to watering systems or looking for a stronger foundation, this workshop will give you a useful introduction to drip and sprinkler irrigation.
