Bird Scare Tape - Red & Silver (290' Roll)
Confuses Even the Bravest of Birds
Bird Scare Tape - Red & Silver (290' Roll) is a simple, humane, and highly effective way to deter birds from your fruit trees, vegetable gardens, or vineyard rows. Designed with alternating red and silver reflective surfaces, this scare tape leverages birds’ natural fear of flashing light and unusual sounds to keep them away from your crops.
Even in a light breeze, the tape creates a fluttering sound and dazzling light reflections that disorient and repel birds. Most effective on flocking species, it helps prevent damage from starlings, blackbirds, grackles, and other airborne nuisances, though ground-dwelling birds like robins may be less affected.
Key features and benefits:
- Red and silver reflective sides deliver intense light flashes to scare birds.
- Creates rustling noise in wind for added deterrence.
- Non-toxic, chemical-free, and safe for organic gardening.
- Ideal for use in orchards, berry patches, vineyards, and vegetable beds.
- 290-foot roll provides extensive coverage for large areas.

This helps keep birds from flying in garden & eating my beans. will use again.
It is rather thin, but strong until I fell over it. Different Birds react differently. Good buy! Used multiple strands low over strawberries, but netted the blueberries.
Did a lot of price comparison shopping & this is the most economical I found. Works best if strung horizontally as a barrier.
