Reflective tape confuses the bravest of birds. Even a slight breeze will cause a fluttering sound as well as mirror-bright reflections. Flashtape is red on one side and silver on the other and, as the tape moves, it reflects sunlight in dazzling flashes which birds fear because they associate it with fire. Generally, scaretapes are more effective on flocking birds than on robins and other birds that stay close to the ground.

    It works!

    It is rather thin, but strong until I fell over it. Different Birds react differently. Good buy! Used multiple strands low over strawberries, but netted the blueberries.
