Brite-N'up is an effective and environmentally friendly silver mulch that reflects sunlight up into the undersides of the canopy thereby increasing photosynthesis. Mulches in general hold soil temperatures at consistent levels. The reflective properties of the silver mulch produces an increased light intensity that tends to repel whiteflies and aphids and snails do not like to cross over the material.
