Description

Earthshine Biochar Blend (30 pounds) combines biochar with glacial rock, soybean meal, worm castings, and humic acid. The product record lists humic acid at 10 percent among the non-plant-food ingredients. Use the blend when preparing new media, refreshing previously used soil, as a top dressing, or as a component in compost-tea and mycorrhizal programs, following current package directions.

Biochar adds porous carbon particles to a growing medium, while the mineral and organic ingredients contribute additional material to the blend. Results depend on the soil, crop, rate, irrigation, and fertility plan. Measure the application area or container volume before use and mix evenly rather than leaving concentrated pockets around roots.
