HM Digital TDS EC/Temp Hydrotester

The HM Digital EC/TDS HydroTester is a reliable EC/TDS meter that is ideal for testing applications such as hydroponics and gardening, pools and spas, aquariums and reef tanks, water ionizers, drinking water and more. With four scales, including microsiemens (µS), millisiemens (mS), parts per million (ppm) and parts per trillion (ppt), this water-resistant tester is excellent for nutrient testing, and the LCD screen displays simultaneous temperature reading. Measurements range from 0 to 9,990 µS, 0 to 5,000 ppm, 0 to 9.9 mS and 0 to 5.0 ppt. The meter includes a protective cap and batteries.

Rinse the probe with appropriate clean water between samples, avoid contaminating calibration solutions, and store the instrument according to its manual. Temperature compensation and multiple display scales help compare nutrient solutions, but conductivity and dissolved-solids readings do not by themselves establish drinking-water quality or identify specific contaminants. Calibrate at the intervals recommended for the work being performed.
