Maxicrop Kelp Extract (10.7 Oz)

Maxicrop Kelp Extract (10.7 Oz)

Water Soluble Kelp Extract

World-famous as a root soak and a foliar-applied plant fertilizer. Extracted from fresh Norwegian Ascophyllum kelp, using a process that concentrates all the goodness of the sea into a small amount of material.

1 lb of Maxicrop is created from over 200 lb of seaweed. Maxicrop is sought after primarily for its trace elements but also has an analysis of 0% N, 0% P, 17% K.

Note: Maxicrop uses two different processing facilities. The color of the maxicrop may accordingly vary from black to brownish, depending on the facility used. Beside the difference in color and a slight difference in texture, the solubility and NPK of the two different colors are the same.

  • Often combined with fish products or other high-analysis foliars.
  • Use the dry powder at 1 tsp/gal (shake to dissolve) or 1-2 lb/acre. Inject at 1-5 lb/acre.
  • For convenience, the 10.7 oz bag can be used to make one gallon of concentrated stock solution (stir or shake to dissolve thoroughly). Use the stock solution at 1-2 Tbs per gallon.
  • The dry powder will last indefinitely if keep dry. A liquid stock solution should be keep cool and used within several months.

    The real miracle

I used to replace the potting soil in my growbag garden maybe once or twice a year but have noticed that when I use this seaweed - regularly - in my growbag garden, though I still need to add compost, but I never have to replace the soil in the pots. Seaweed keeps them healthy and microscopically active. IT feels like a mini biome in a pot and the soil stays soft and healthy.I love this product. Love that it is clean too.

    Convenient

All kelp is great for seedlings and feeding the soil, but this form makes me much more likely to apply it since it’s so convenient. Just two teaspoons per gallon, and I can keep it handy since it’s not smelly (like fish emulsion) or in a huge bag (like the regular stuff).

    Really effective!

Highly recommended! You only need a teaspoon of this per gallon of water. It’s very efficient and easy to use. And I use it all the time for soaking seeds, foliar sprays, etc. Much easier than buying a huge jug of liquid kelp.

Maxicrop is essential to keep in the bag of tricks for keeping the garden happy. Use it in my compost tea mix. Plants are always appreciative.
