Hardiest Tree of All Mandarins
One of the most cold hardy mandarin trees, tolerating temperatures in the mid-twenties but the fruit can be damaged by cold temps and so is often picked before drastic cold, or the trees are covered with frost blankets to keep the thin skinned fruit from freezing until harvest is complete. - USDA Zones: 9-10 (protect when temperature falls below 28°F)

About Our Citrus
Add a little zest to your garden! Citrus trees are potted, evergreen, semi-dwarf, 12-18 months-old, pencil caliper, 12”-18” tall measured from the bottom of the pot to the top of the tree. They will, with good care, produce fragrant, self-pollinating flowers and wonderful fruit. Mature height is 8’–12’, but can be pruned to suit in ground or in containers.
Choose a sunny location, in well drained soil, sheltered from wind. They are affected by freezing temperatures, and in many locales require frost protection. Trees should start to produce fruit around the third year.
