Tender Perennial Crisp and wonderful in salads and sandwiches. This member of the brassica family has been eaten and cultivated for over three millennia. Like its mustard cousins, it has crisp leaves with a tangy flavor. Grows in USDA zones 1-5 as an annual and in USDA zones 6-9 as a perennial.
