Soil & Water: Legumes like well-drained soil rich in organic matter and a moderate amount of nutrients. Water lightly at planting, medium at flowering, and heavily throughout harvest time. Avoid overhead watering which can promote disease.
Planting & Growing: Start indoors in short-season climates, or seed directly once soils have reached at least 65°F, preferably after the last frost. Make small, successive plantings every 10 days for a continuous harvest.
Harvesting & Storage: Bush beans will produce all of their fruit over a few weeks' time. For best flavor, harvest the pods when they reach 1/2" in diameter regardless of their length, or leave the pods on the plant until they have completely dried. Store dry, shelled beans in an airtight container.

We’ve always had amazing luck with Peaceful Valley bean seeds and are very much looking forward to planting these this summer!
I grow and have grown many types of beans, these have been the best preforming beans. I plant these every year the plants produce up until fall when other types of bean plants are done. I love the purple color but do have to let people know that they turn green when blanched or cooked. Don't let the color deter you, these are really good beans, great quality seed also!
Planted the seeds a week ago and have healthy sprouts already.
Interesting bean.
I could not find these locally so I was happy to find them on this site. Cannot wait to plant them. I received them quickly and the price was outstanding.
Not yet harvested planted late. So far so good
