Planting & Care
Soil & Water: Legumes like well-drained soil rich in organic matter and a moderate amount of nutrients. Water lightly at planting, moderately at flowering, and heavily throughout harvest time. Avoid overhead watering which can promote disease.
Planting & Growing: Start indoors in short-season climates, or seed directly once soils have reached at least 65°F, preferably after the last frost. Make small, successive plantings every 10 days for a continuous harvest.
Harvesting & Storage: Bush beans will produce all of their fruit over a few weeks' time then stop producing. Leave the pods on the plant until they have completely dried. Store dry, shelled beans in an airtight container.

Seeds arrived in great condition. We started them with the wet paper towel method and they sprouted within the 7-10 day period. This is the first season we're growing these, so I don't have a comment on the mature bean itself (yet). :)
I am ready to plant these. Grow organic has quality seeds and choices that are good for me in California.
Planted in Spring 2018, and have been eating a serving of delicious green beans almost every night starting late May. Easy to grow, but I did lose a few sprouts early on before I covered the area with bird net. Planning to plant more next year - I consider these a great success!
After a lengthy germination due to the cooler weather, they are reaching for the sun now. Beautiful and healthy. I have a second batch in the dirt so I won't run out of these tasty beans.
Its too cold to put in the ground, here in Nevada... its april 20..
