Delicious Duo Scallion Onion Seed Mix

Two of a Kind

Organic Delicious Duo scallion seeds offer a vibrant mix of red and green scallions, combining bold color with crisp, fresh flavor. This unique blend is bred for exceptional quality, heat tolerance, and resistance to common diseases, making it a dependable choice for home gardens and small farms alike. With quick maturity and a mild yet zesty taste, these scallions are perfect for adding visual appeal and fresh flavor to salads, stir-fries, salsas, and garnishes.

Ideal for succession planting, sow in early spring for a summer harvest and again in late summer for a flavorful, long-standing fall crop. The mix performs well in a variety of soil types and thrives in full sun with consistent moisture. Scallions are easy to grow, space-efficient, and can be harvested at multiple stages depending on your culinary needs. Their compact growth makes them well-suited for raised beds, container gardening, and interplanting with other crops.

Planting & Care

Soil & Water:Sow seeds in well worked, fertile soil in full sun. Be sure to keep soil evenly moist and well weeded. Mulch to conserve moisture and suppress weeds.

Planting & Growing:Plant throughout the spring a month apart and again in mid to late summer. Space seeds 1 inch apart in rows 8-10 inches apart, or broadcast thinly over bed. Cover 1/2 inch and firm soil over seed. Space 1-2 inches apart to allow room to mature.

Harvesting & Storage:Use tender early thinnings and continue to thin gradually to mature scallions an inch or two apart. Best harvested at 10-12 inches tall or before they send up bloom stalks.
