This unique and easy to grow Shiso is aromatic, tasty, and really beautiful in the garden. The fringed 3 inch leaves are a striking blue-green on top and dark burgundy underneath, and absolutely glow in the sun. The fragrant, branching 2 1/2 foot plants bloom in profusion with pretty plumes of lavender-pink flowers. Shiso’s vibrant flavor is strongly herbaceous and citrusy. The leaves can be enjoyed in pickles, Asian salads, noodle dishes and sushi rolls.

The first time I used it, I turned it on and about 5 minutes later I looked out the window and all I saw was a geyser coming out. The sprinkler hed had unscrewed. (I did not check it before I used it). I put it back in and made sure it was tight and it has been working GREAT ever since. So far I really like it and the birds like it also.
I was looking for something durable, light, and affordable. This ticks all the marks. I use it for tools, not vegetables. But it could be used for anything.
I live in a fairly humid climate. I could never successfully grow zucchini until I found these seeds. The plants seem to not be affected by it. Good germination rate. Happy with purchase.

These plants are incredible nearly every seed sprouted and I planted them all around my garden between tomatoes, squash, etc. they now nearly 6 feet tall and I’ve started harvesting some of the flowers for tea
