Didn't know I had a gopher problem until I did! Get all the sizes. This size super handy for the bulbs that you want to plant, but the gophers want to eat. Looking at you Tulips.

Protection for my dahlias

I have fallen in love with dahlias, but need a way to protect the tubers from all the little critters. These baskets are the perfect size and will make it easy to dig the tubers in the fall and store them in my basement.

Gopher Baskets

These things work! I've tried all kinds of gopher control and this is the only one that works consistently. I use the 4" gopher baskets to plant nearly all my vegetables. I buy a lot of them. The baskets don't need to protect the whole root growth area; it just needs to prevent the gopher from damaging the base of the plant and main roots. I know the gophers are just as busy in the garden as before because I see holes dug all around the gopher basket but I haven't lost any plants.
