Island Phosphate Hi P 0-11-0 (5 lb Box)

Island Phosphate Hi P 0-11-0 (5 lb Box)

Quick-Acting High Phosphorus Fertilizer

Seabird guanos have been used as a fertilizer for thousands of years; collected from the abandoned roosting areas of migratory birds. Seabird guanos high in phosphorus (fossilized) are from deposits accumulated over hundreds of years. The phosphorus is readily available and the high humus content makes it an excellent soil builder. Effectiveness is maximized by foliar application.

  • Work or water it into the soil at 5 lb/100 sq ft.
  • Use it as a foliar spray or injectable solution by preparing a guano tea: steep 3-5 lb in 5-10 gal of water for 1-2 days. Strain, dilute to 2-4 Tbs/gal of water and spray on plants.
  • Tea can be used in fertigation and drip systems, if filtered

    Different name same stuff

They call it island phosphate, but I see you seabird guano. This is and always has been the staple of my flowering feed routine. Big flowers again and again

Bag inside was open upon arrival

Got this product and the supposed to be sealed bag inside was opened and held together with a bread clip. Who knows if we actually received the product we paid for. Sketchy is you ask me.

The way that DTE seals their bags is with a bread clip. It does not mean that the box was opened. We cannot control how our vendors package their products and DTE is an excellent company with top notch products. Rest assured that your product was not opened prior to getting shipped out to you.

Great for a punch of phosphorus

Got this for my garden to boost my blooms and fruit production. I added it to my compost tea and let it brew for a few hours. So far my squash plants are really putting out lots of blooms and fruit. Like to be able to use it as a foliar and a soil drench for my plants.

    Steeped in water

I steeped this in water to use as a foiler as I was having problems with my tomatoes. After I used this I had a lot more blossoms and took care of any blossom end rot with the 20% calcium it has.

    Guano

I used this as a foliar spray along with Micro Hume and Liquid Kelp. I was a little late in planting my veggies, so some of them weren't looking so good. After the spray, they have all perked up and look better than ever!
