PST Thermal Green Mulch Film 3' x 3000'

PST Thermal Green Mulch Film is a three-foot-wide, 3,000-foot-long roll of 1.1-mil photo-selective polyethylene. The green film transmits part of the sun’s warming radiation while limiting wavelengths needed by many germinating weeds, combining some soil-warming behavior of clear mulch with greater weed suppression. Results vary with weed species, soil temperature, climate, and edge sealing.

Prepare a smooth, moist seedbed, install drip irrigation first, and secure the film tightly along every edge. Do not follow any older package suggestion to pretreat with herbicide unless a current herbicide label expressly permits the crop, site, timing, and plastic-mulch system. Monitor soil temperature in hot weather, repair tears, and remove the film after use. Recycle it only through a program that accepts agricultural plastic.
