Description
Description
Par 4 Granulated Bone Meal 2-14-0 in the original 50 lb bag is a uniform, low-dust source of slow-release nitrogen and phosphorus for larger gardens, farms, orchards, and soil blends.

- OMRI Listed and CDFA registered
- Use from soil-test recommendations
Review the current Product Label.
Use bone meal where a soil test confirms a phosphorus need. Nutrients become available gradually through soil moisture and biological activity, so the product is best incorporated before planting or used as a planned top-dress. Soil pH also affects phosphorus availability and should be considered before application.
Spread granules evenly, avoid concentrated contact with roots or stems, and water after application. The animal-derived material may attract pets or wildlife; store it securely and clean up spills promptly.
The uniform granules can be incorporated into soil or compost, top-dressed around established plants, or spread with conventional equipment. Account for compost, manure, and previous fertilizer applications when calculating the total phosphorus supplied.
The 50 lb format is intended for repeated applications and larger planting areas.
How Par 4 Granulated Bone Meal 2-14-0 (50 lb) fits a fertility plan
- Provides phosphorus to support root development, flowering, seed formation, and fruiting when soil levels and crop demand justify an application.
- Also supplies nitrogen for vegetative growth, so the complete N-P-K analysis should be included in the seasonal nutrient budget.
- The package size and formulation shown in the title help match the product to planting holes, beds, containers, orchards, or larger areas as allowed by the label.
Application guidance: Phosphorus moves slowly in many soils and can accumulate when overapplied. Use soil-test results, place or incorporate only as directed, and account for phosphorus already supplied by compost and other fertilizers. Follow label rates for the specific crop and growth stage.

Been using this for last couple growing season. Works wonders for the garden.
I added this to my soil in the new garden (which tested for no to low phosphorus) and so far my plants, especially my squash have responded with producing squash. Last year I could not even grow zucchini so I am so pleased. It is easy to handle since it is pelleted and no dust.
