Superior Water Holding Capacity

Excellent alternative to the depletion of peat bogs. Made from a renewable resource (coconut coir or husk fiber), Coco Peat lasts 3 times longer than peat, nutrient storage and water retention (it holds 8-9 times its weight in water). • pH range is 5.7-6.8
  • Ecologically friendly by-product of the coconut processing industries of Sri Lanka and India.
  • Bales are compressed 1:5 and expand to a fluffy, dark brown, great-smelling peat when water is added.
  • Short fiber, ground/milled.
  • Size shown are volumes after expansion.

Ordered this on March 31. Received on June 19. No longer need it. Annoying.

Great soil alternative

I’m trying to grow some flowers and succulents from seed. The brick is easier to break apart once you go with the grain. I look forward to seeing some seedlings soon.

Great Seed Starter

I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly my seeds have already begun to show up through the coconut coir fiber after only 2 days. That is quite
amazing at how rapidly they are germinating. I am really happy with the results. Thank you.

good stuff

Small size of these bricks makes it easy to expand in a bucket. Larger bricks are tough to have a container large enough. Used it this year along with some fertilizer to rejuvenate some well used potting soil and make my own mix.

Wonderful!

I love this stuff. Compact brick makes it easy to store and then expands to nice, light, fluffy medium for seeds to make their way through.
