Edamame Soybean Seeds (Organic)
Sweet, tender pods for steaming and shelling
Organic edamame soybean seeds produce early-maturing plants with plump green pods and a sweet, nutty flavor. Steam or boil the harvested pods, then shell the beans for snacks, salads, stir-fries, and soups.
Direct-sow after frost danger has passed and the soil has warmed to at least 60°F. Plant about 1 inch deep and 2–3 inches apart in rows 18–24 inches apart. Choose full sun and fertile, well-drained soil. Maintain steady moisture, particularly during flowering and pod formation, while avoiding saturated conditions. As a legume, soybeans may contribute nitrogen to a crop rotation when compatible rhizobia are present.
Harvest when pods are bright green, plump, and approximately 80–90% filled, before they begin turning yellow. Refrigerate fresh pods promptly or blanch and freeze shelled beans for longer storage. Explore more options in our Bean Seeds collection.

I'm a brand new gardener trying my hand at growing so I'm literally just throwing things around and see what will stick. These beans came in and I immediately planted 2 in plastic cups inside to see what would happen, both of them came up and are looking hapoy as ever even after a transplant, after the 2 came up and looked great, I planted so many more becuase I love Edamame. Every single one that I seeded correctly came up and are now growing like crazy and are very hardy plants. Only 2 have been lost. 1 becuase I planted it just a tad too deep and it was struggling to come up. The other is still hanging on but looks like it got munched by something so we'll see. Over all have been very happy with these seeds. Can't wait til harvest.
