Not for me.

It is nice that it is expandable, but it did not work well for attacking my kind of weeds, dandelions, clover, thistle, etc. The angle is all wrong too straight and the there is no knife edge on the bottom. It is all too straight. I think for me it would work better if the knife were tilted and curved and was sharp at the very end as well.

I have a version of this tool without the extendable handle that I really like, now with the extendable handle I can save my knees and back.
