Glaser 7" Colinear Hoe Head

Designed by Eliot Coleman on the premise that a gardener should be able to weed standing straight up, this precisely-crafted, lightweight Glaser hoe is angled so the blade is parallel to the ground. Without stooping, you can stir the soil just beneath the surface for fast, easy weeding, thinning, and cultivating. The narrow 7" blade is high quality steel that keeps its edge. You must order the 57" handle or the 8" handle separately. Galvanized for rust protection.

The seven-inch blade is suited to shallow weeding in open rows and bed surfaces. Keep the blade nearly parallel to the ground and use light strokes just beneath the surface; forcing it deeply can disturb roots and bring additional weed seed into the germination zone. This listing is for the hoe head only. Confirm handle compatibility, tighten the mounting hardware before use, and clean and dry the galvanized steel after cultivation.
