Hill & Valley Fertilizer Mix Plus N 2.0-4.0-4.0 (40 lb)

Same formulation as our well-known Hill & Valley Fertilizer Mix but with bloodmeal added for nitrogen. Our own formulation based on years of testing local soils, which are acidic and low in phosphorous, nitrogen, calcium, sulfur, and trace minerals. Note: for bareroot or container-grown trees, use the regular Hill & Valley Fertilizer Mix, instead of this mix. Contains 2.0%N-4.0%P-4.0%K. This blend contains gypsum, oystershell lime, fish bone meal, colloidal rock phosphate, blood meal, sulfate of potash, kelp meal (Ascophyllum Nodosum) . It is organic and supplies all deficient soil nutrients. More Nitrogen might be needed later in the growing season.

Application guidance: Use the guaranteed analysis, current soil information, crop stage, and other fertilizer inputs to set the rate. Measure rather than estimating, distribute or dilute uniformly, water as directed, and keep concentrated material off leaves, stems, hardscape, and waterways unless the label specifically permits that placement.
