Description
Description
Foxglove Beardtongue carries white tubular flowers on upright stems, bringing brightness and vertical shape to perennial borders and meadow plantings. The flowers attract hummingbirds and long-tongued bees, and a close look reveals the small tuft of hairs that gives beardtongue its common name. Its open arrangement of blooms creates a light effect among surrounding foliage.
This hardy perennial offers flexibility in the garden, adapting to full sun or partial shade and tolerating dry spells once established. Plants reach about 3 feet, making them useful behind shorter flowers or in a mixed planting where their white blooms can stand out. Deer-resistant plants also provide stems for fresh flower arrangements. Each packet contains 250 certified organic seeds. Provide cold treatment before germination.
