Description
Description
Spotted Beebalm has an unusual flower structure that rewards a closer look: tiers of pink to purple-tinged bracts surround small tubular flowers dotted with darker spots. Aromatic gray-green leaves add another layer of texture, and a group of plants creates a broad display of soft color. Bees visit the flowers, bringing movement to the planting.
Choose this beebalm for a sunny site with sandy, well-drained soil. It tolerates dry conditions better than many other beebalms and suits open, informal plantings where drainage is good. Typically biennial, it often reseeds where conditions suit it; leave room for that changing pattern if you want a continuing patch. Each packet contains 250 certified organic seeds.
