Begin by locating droppings, rub marks, gnawing, or gaps that indicate mouse movement. Place the trap lengthwise against a wall with its entrances aligned to the route, rather than in the middle of an open room. Follow the package directions for setting, optional baiting, and release or disposal. Inspect the window frequently; captured animals must not be left unattended. Wear gloves during handling, clean and dry the chamber between uses, and keep the unit away from food-preparation surfaces.
