I do think though, that the cost of shipping was far too much for the weight and value of the item.
This Multipurpose Mesh Tubing worked better than I could have hoped for. When I purchase this I was designing a Breadfruit harvester and needed a way to lower the Breadfruit to the ground with out letting it hit the ground...Breadfruit trees in the wild can grow up to 90 ft tall but most are shorter (around forty to fifty feet). Cultivated trees are pruned to around 20 ft. The Breadfruit range from small 4 1/2" diameter to large 9" diameter depending on variety. I used the Mesh Tubing to provide a chute affixed to a 10" diameter hoop mounted on a sixteen foot extension pole and when tested in Hawaii it has worked quite well to slow the fruit in a very controlled fashion without dropping it and bruising the Breadfruit from small 2 pound to the large nearly 10 pound fruit. The mesh appears to be very durable and expands to accommodate the varying diameter of the fruit and yet does not stretch excessively in length, it is see through so it makes it easy to position the harvester around the fruit. What a deal. Yes, net onion and potato bags work BUT the size is "set". Buying by the foot allows you to determine the amount stored. I bought 10 feet and have used 7 and the other 3 are waiting for begonia tubers that will be lifted this Fall. Then I'll buy 20 more feet!
