Select the hand-opening position that matches both the branch and your grip before beginning. Place stems fully in the bypass blade and use a lopper or saw for material above the 20 mm capacity. Keep the other hand clear, engage the lock for carrying, and clean sap from the stainless blade after use. Avoid prolonged moisture on the varnished beech handle, lubricate the pivot lightly, and store the pruner closed in a dry place.
