Description
Description
Organic Daikon Radish Sprouting Seeds produce crisp sprouts with a fresh, mildly spicy radish flavor. They add texture and a peppery note to salads, wraps, sandwiches, and grain bowls. Grow them in a wide-mouth jar or a suitable sprouting tray.
Sprouting: Rinse 1–2 tablespoons of seed, soak for 4–6 hours, and drain well. Rinse with cool, potable water twice daily and drain thoroughly after each rinse. Sprouts are generally ready in 4–5 days. One tablespoon of dry seed yields about 3–4 cups under typical conditions.
Microgreens: Daikon radish can also be grown as microgreens and is typically ready in 10–12 days. Fuzzy white root hairs are normal for radish and can be mistaken for mold.
Allergen Note: Supplier lot notices can change; check the package for current allergen information before use.
Storage: Keep dry seed sealed in a cool, dry place; refrigeration can help extend germination life. Refrigerate finished sprouts after they are well drained and use them promptly. Always use clean equipment. Browse more sprouting seeds.
