Description

Kailaan is a fast-growing Chinese broccoli valued for sweet, tender stems, green leaves, and loose clusters of flower buds. Rather than producing a dense central head, it offers edible shoots that are well suited to stir-fries and lightly cooked vegetable dishes. Harvest stems while tender and return regularly for new side shoots as the plants continue growing. The leaves can be cooked along with the stems, giving you several useful textures from one garden crop. This organic heirloom is a good choice for gardeners interested in Asian vegetables. Despite its name, it is garden broccoli, not a seed for jar sprouting.

Certified organic seed for garden planting.
