Pest Wizard Banded Ash Clearwing Borer Lure 3-Pack

Pest Wizard Banded Ash Clearwing Borer Lures are formulated to attract adult male Podosesia aureocincta for detection and flight monitoring around susceptible ash trees. Three pheromone lures are included, with an expected field life of up to 30 days each. Trapping helps time closer inspection for clearwing borer activity but does not protect trunks or remove larvae already beneath the bark.

Store unopened lures cool or frozen as instructed and use clean gloves or forceps for handling. Place one lure on the sticky surface inside a Paper Delta Trap or Reusable Plastic Delta Trap, purchased separately. Deploy before the locally expected flight window and position traps near host trees where entrances remain unobstructed. Write the date and location on each trap, inspect at consistent intervals, and identify captures carefully because other clearwing moths may appear similar. Replace the lure at about 30 days and change the liner when dirt or moths reduce tack. Pair flight records with examination of stressed trees, wounds, swellings, frass, or exit holes and consult regional guidance before choosing a treatment.
