Pest Wizard Lesser Cornstalk Borer Lures are pheromone replacements for monitoring adult male Elasmopalpus lignosellus. This insect can affect corn, beans, peanuts, and other hosts, particularly where hot, dry soil conditions favor larval activity near the base of young plants. A well-maintained delta trap can show when moths are active and help direct field scouting toward seedlings and stem areas where injury would appear. The package includes three lures with a stated life of approximately 30 days each.

Install one unopened dispenser in a clean, compatible trap before the expected flight period. Visit the site regularly, count and record captures, and replace the sticky liner if dust or insects cover the adhesive. Change lures at the package interval, noting that high heat may reduce longevity. Preserve unused attractants in their sealed package in a cool place or freezer, away from food, and handle different lure types separately. Monitoring results represent adult activity near the trap and should be interpreted with crop stage, soil conditions, direct plant inspection, and locally recommended thresholds before management decisions are made.
