Pest Wizard Strawberry Crown Moth Lures are replacement pheromone dispensers for monitoring adult Synanthedon bibionipennis. This clearwing moth is associated with strawberries and other susceptible cane or crown hosts; its larvae develop in protected plant tissue where damage is not always obvious at first glance. Monitoring adult activity can help focus plant inspections and improve the timing of follow-up observations. The pack contains three lures, each listed for up to 30 days of service.

Place a single lure in a compatible delta trap, leaving the dispenser intact, and install it before the anticipated seasonal flight. Check the sticky insert regularly and record catches by date and location. Replace the lure on the package schedule, or earlier if field conditions warrant, and renew the liner when adhesive area is no longer open. Store the remaining sealed lures in a cool place or freezer until deployment. Avoid touching dispensers with bare hands or mixing lures for different insects. Because a pheromone trap samples adult activity rather than crown injury, use results alongside close examination of plant vigor, crowns, and nearby host material.
