Pesticide Respirator

This reusable pesticide respirator includes replaceable filter cartridges and is intended for uses covered by the respirator’s approval and the pesticide label. Respiratory protection must be selected for the specific product, concentration, and task; a mask or cartridge that works for dust may not protect against vapor, and facial hair can prevent an adequate seal.

Read both the pesticide label and respirator instructions before use. Verify the NIOSH approval markings and cartridge service-life guidance on the actual components. Perform the required seal check every time the respirator is worn, replace cartridges on schedule, and store them sealed away from pesticide vapors. Do not use an air-purifying respirator in oxygen-deficient spaces, unknown atmospheres, or conditions beyond its approval. Employers must follow applicable respiratory-protection requirements, including medical evaluation and fit testing.
