Plan Sivan Melon for a warm, full-sun period with enough time for vines and fruit to develop. Sow after soil has warmed or transplant carefully once frost risk has passed. Give vines the recorded room, check moisture at root depth, and avoid repeatedly wetting foliage. As maturity approaches, use the documented color, aroma, rind, stem, or texture cues rather than calendar days alone. Handle harvested fruit carefully and store only when the crop type and maturity stage support it.
Before sowing Sivan Melon, review the packet alongside the current product details and note any range in temperature, germination, or maturity. Ranges reflect biological and seasonal variation rather than a fixed promise. Label each planting with its date and location, then compare emergence, growth, and harvest with local weather. This record is useful for succession plantings and for deciding whether the crop fits better into an earlier or later seasonal window.

Planting & Care
Planting & Care
Soil and Water: Plant melons in mounds of moderately rich, well-drained soils with plenty of phosphorous and potassium and a pH of 6.0-6.8. For flavorful fruits, melons need moderate water as seedlings, low water before transplanting, moderate water during growth and low water during fruit development.
Planting and Growing: Start seeds indoors 2-3 weeks before the last frost or seed directly after the last frost. Melons need plentiful heat to develop; use plastic mulch and row covers in cooler climates.
Harvesting & Storage: Melons are ripe when the rind changes color to yellow and gentle pressure separates the stem from the vine. Melons can store in the refrigerator for about a week.

This melon is exquisite. The fragrance is sweet and inviting; the flavor is truly incredible. I have never liked "cantaloupe " but this melon changed my opinion. It truly is a great tasting melon fresh from your own garden.
The seeds appear to be very high quality, and I can’t wait to enjoy the tasty melons this summer! Looking forward to purchasing more from PV next season!
the seeds arrived, look beautiful, the packaging is beautiful, and they are starting to germinate now! i am so excited to see (and taste) the original cantaloupe melon!
Great service
Good seed count in package, good germination results. And the end product was delicious! Cut it in half, scoop out the seeds and fill that with ice cream.....sounds weird, but so good!
