Description
Oriental Giant Japanese spinach is a fast-growing and flavorful variety well suited to home gardeners and small-scale growers. This open-pollinated Asian heirloom produces extra-large, deep green leaves with a sweet, mild flavor and tender texture that remains even at full size. The upright growth habit makes for easy harvesting, and the broad, glossy leaves are ideal for salads, sautés, soups, and steaming. Best grown in full sun to partial shade, Oriental Giant thrives in well-drained, fertile soil with consistent moisture.

Ordered this variety of spinach because of the description of the large smooth leaves and mild flavor - and was not disappointed. This spinach is the best I have ever grown and eaten! I will be ordering more of the seed for future plantings!
