Description
Description
Mini Love Personal Watermelon is presented as a specific seed variety for gardeners comparing choices by growth habit, seasonal timing, mature size, and intended use. The description below separates identifying traits from sowing and growing information, keeps numerical ranges visible when they are present in the product record, and avoids turning general crop guidance into a fixed promise. Use these details with the packet and local conditions when planning the planting, then record actual emergence, harvest, or bloom timing for future sowings successfully.

Sowing & Growing
- Light: Full Sun
- Planting season: Summer
- Starting location: Direct Sow
Plan Mini Love Personal Watermelon for a warm, full-sun period with enough time for vines and fruit to develop. Sow after soil has warmed or transplant carefully once frost risk has passed. Give vines the recorded room, check moisture at root depth, and avoid repeatedly wetting foliage. As maturity approaches, use the documented color, aroma, rind, stem, or texture cues rather than calendar days alone. Handle harvested fruit carefully and store only when the crop type and maturity stage support it.
Before sowing Mini Love Personal Watermelon, review the packet alongside the current product details and note any range in temperature, germination, or maturity. Ranges reflect biological and seasonal variation rather than a fixed promise. Label each planting with its date and location, then compare emergence, growth, and harvest with local weather. This record is useful for succession plantings and for deciding whether the crop fits better into an earlier or later seasonal window.

Planting & Care
Direct Seeding: Plant heat loving watermelons only when spring weather is warmed and night temperatures are consistently above 55°F (13°C). Amend soil well with aged manure or compost. Sow seeds 1 inch deep and 4 inches apart in slightly mounded hills that are 3 feet apart, sowing 4 or 5 seeds in each hill. Thin to the three strongest seedlings in each hill so plants have room to grow and mature. Or, grow 1 plant per foot in rows.
Sow directly into containers at least 18 inches wide and 12 inches deep. Sow 2 seeds in the center of the pot, then thin to just 1 strong seedling per pot. For larger containers, grow plants at final spacing of 8-10 inches apart.
Harvesting and Use: Pick melons when the tendril closest to the fruit turns brown, and the light patch on the bottom of the melon changes from cream to tan. Watermelons keep well in the refrigerator, even after being cut open.
