low rating because metal ones last longer and hold better

These snap clamps have a very strong hold on PVC with greenhouse film. But every time I have to pull it off I fear tearing the film. I wish there were clamps with a handle that would allow me to pull clamp straight away. These are meant for longer term hold of film, and not for daily checks on veggies growing underneath. I should make a door instead of repeated clamping.

I set up my garden boxes with a frame work of 1" pvc. Then put 50% shade cloth over the frame work. Then fastened with the cover snap clamps. I really like it since I can quickly pull the clamps to open my shade cloth to weed, fertilize and maintain the garden boxes. Like it so much I bought more of them.
