Tree Planting Kit Standard

The Tree Planting Kit Standard groups four supplies commonly used when planting and training a new bare-root fruit or nut tree. It includes one aluminum plant marker, one 24-inch spiral tree guard, one 3-pound bag of Peaceful Valley PrimeStart Booster, and one 9-inch tree limb spreader.

Use the marker to record the variety and planting date. Fit the guard according to trunk size and local conditions, and check it as the tree grows. Apply the fertilizer only at the labeled rate and placement. The limb spreader is intended for later branch-angle training when suitable young growth is available; inspect contact points and remove it before it becomes restrictive.
