I have started two trays of plants with this mat. It took a bit to get it flat, but after that it worked great. I do recommend a thermostat, since without it, it's easy to overheat your plants. Plant germination time is reduced considerably and therefore reduces failure rate as well.

Glad I got the two flat size. Keeps my seedlings nice and warm. Seeds germinated in 1/2 the time with the mat.

Fast heating and even temperature distribution. I think this will do a great job on heating flats for a variety of propagation needs, from seeds to cuttings.
