Seedling Heating Mats - Thermostat

This Jump Start Heating mat works great and is long lasting. We connected four commercial mats to it, worked it hard, and it lasted years.

I got this to use with a double mat. It will work on others as well. I was able to control temps in my trays very nicely. I checked with an insta-read thermometer and it was within a degree of my setting. I had it set at 76 degrees in a room that's 62 degrees. I also had two single size mats going without thermostat and they got 90 degrees which was warmer than I wanted. The product isn't to hard to setup either, which is nice.

These are great for using in a greenhouse or other locations where you want the soil to stay a certain temperature and not get too hot - indoors I use the always on mats without a thermostat, but in a greenhouse that can get very hot during the day but cold at night, I only want the heat mat on when the soil is cooling off, otherwise seeds and seedlings get cooked.
