Sluggo (2.5 lb Bottle)

Sluggo is a 2.5-pound ready-to-use granular bait for controlling slugs and snails in home lawns, gardens, residential greenhouses, outdoor ornamentals, vegetables, fruits, berries, citrus, and other crops listed on the label. Its active ingredient is 1% iron phosphate. After feeding on the bait, slugs and snails stop damaging plants, become less mobile, and die over the following days.

Scatter the granules evenly on soil around or near plants; do not leave the bait in piles. The label directs 0.5 to 1 pound per 1,000 square feet for broadcast treatment, with smaller-area directions also provided. Evening application is useful because slugs and snails feed mainly at night and early morning. Moist soil improves bait activity, while standing water should be avoided. Reapply only as the bait is consumed or at the interval and conditions specified on the label.
