Smart Pot with Handles - Black (5 Gal)

Very happy so far with the way I am able to judge the status of my plant’s moisture levels. Never used a smart pot before but will definitely use one again. I wasn’t sure about using it in an inside grow but am so pleased with the results so far.

These work really well for my small peppers for the last two seasons now. My only concern is that the handles are cut out of the felt-like material and these holes have been slowly getting larger each time I pick up the pot when it's full. The larger version of these pots seem to have more durable handles.

I got this to control my plants environment in the ground. I have clay and have been mulching it for 2 years now but still it is a difficult soil. So this year I made some partial raised beds and used these smart pots to help give my plants a much better chance. It seems to be working out great & the fact these will decompose in a few years helps me believe over time the plants will just meld into the beds without any risks to the environment.

I have a tiny area to use for gardening, and the soil is pretty poor quality, so these small smart pots are perfect for growing things like garlic, herbs, and more. Highly recommended.
