Solar Bells (Set of 3)

Solar Bells are reusable vented cloches made from UV-stabilized recycled plastic. The set contains three covers, each approximately 13 inches in diameter and ten inches high, for sheltering individual transplants or small perennial crowns from wind, light frost, birds, and weather exposure. An adjustable top vent provides a way to release heat and humidity.

Set each bell over a plant without pressing foliage against the sides, then anchor it through the base holes. Check temperature frequently: a clear cloche can overheat quickly in direct sun even when outdoor air feels cool. Open the vent or remove the cover as weather warms, and do not rely on it through temperatures beyond the plant’s tolerance. Inspect for trapped insects, water as needed, and clean and dry the bells before stacking them for storage.
